Cash Prize League - LeagueSafe
Hi, I’m looking for players for a h2h 6x6 Yahoo league. The league is much like a standard 5x5 but with OPS and Holds added to make it more fun and challenging.
I’m bringing what I believe to be an innovative concept in which you’d have to be real bad playing this game not to win. Each week you will be playing for a little something all throughout the regular season. This should promote activity all year and make the league that much more fun. If you make it into the playoffs then you will have a shot at the remaining chunk of the money pot, which is the greater part – over 60%. Since chances are most people in the league will not know each other in person then I want to use LeagueSafe.com to do all the funds’ handling for us free of charge. You may check how LeagueSafe works at https://www.leaguesafe.com/home.aspx. The free service was started by Paul Charchian, founder of Fanball.com and Chairman of the Fantasy Sports Trade Association. I don’t handle the entry fees. LeagueSafe does by safely placing the $$ in an FDIC-insured bank account until our league playoffs are over. At that point and without delay LeagueSafe pays out the winners as per our very own league rules, which I have clearly stated in the Commissioners’ Note of our league and in the LeagueSafe website.
The main reason I have come up with this win-weekly-prize concept is to promote competitiveness and activity within the league. Plus, look at it this way, you pay a relatively small entry fee to get in, yet all throughout the year you’ll have a chance on a weekly basis to gain back small fractions of your entry fee while aligning your squad for a chance at the playoffs and the bigger prizes. And all that while having fun in a very active league. The fun of beating your opponent each week alone makes it all worthwhile.
