I'm looking to put together a new h2h league, 16-20 teams, 5x5, 6x6 or 7x7 (max), 2 divisions, probably 6 teams making playoffs with bye's for the first place teams.
1st year keepers will be 3-5, 2nd year 5-7, 3rd year 7-10, 4th year 10-15 and 5th year dynasty (keep all players). We will build up to dynasty as the first few years I expect turnover of managers as per usual and don't want to have to replace crappy teams with new managers. It's one think to take over a bad team with 3 or 5 keepers when it's bad, it's another to take over a crappy dynasty team.
40 man rosters. 25 playing at a time, standard positions to a baseball team (C, C, 1b, 2b, 3b, ss, CI, MI, OF, OF, OF, OF, OF, UTIL and SP, SP, SP, SP, SP, P, RP, RP, RP, RP, RP. I'm thinking weekly changes - set your 25 man 'roster' for the week, let em go.
when we get to dynasty, each team will be given a $100 FA budget for the year to add players weekly, either new players to the yahoo pool or otherwise. You will only get to protect 30 of your 40 man roster, so another team may 'poach' players number 31 on your roster with a free agent bid, but you will get the money they spent on that player to use for that year on your FA budget. I am open to having this money roll over or not. I think it should roll over as good teams are going to have their best players 'poached' periodically but at least you get a benefit in $$ for that.

Also, I don't want to commish this league forever. It's a lot of work to be a good commish, so I'd like 2 to 3 other people to commish the league, maybe we could rotate it every year?
