Roster Limit Rule Input Needed
I just want to get your opinions on a roster rule we put in this year in our league. Its a 16 team keeper league w/ 25 man rosters and 5 DL spots.
This year, we put in a rule limiting the number of total SPs you could carry on your team to 8 (5 starters, 3 bench). Last year, when you could have up to 15 SPs, a few teams would sign 11-12 so the FA pool was really depleted, or they would sign every available 2-start pitcher just to put them on the bench and keep them off of other teams that might be streaming 2-start guys. In reaction to that, we came up with a rule that you cant carry more than 8 SPs on your team.
Now, most teams are OK with it, but a few have been crying about it all season long. What do you guys think of this rule?
