While we are hearing only one side of the story, a few comments:
    1. I don't see anyhing in the trade to veto - we have no way of knowing how Arod is going to do this year.
    2. You now see the problem of playing for money with strangers
    3. I donbb't see what Yahoo can do for you.
    4. The one thing you could try is to suck up your pride, apologize and see if that works.

    • I don't think that this post is about a veto but more about a commissioner that is abusing power. One thing I can't understand is why the commissioner would go on the offensive regarding a message board post about a trade that didn't even involve him? Seems like something is missing from this story?

In any event...you should be able to bitch and moan all you want about a trade on the league message boards without getting locked out of your league (especially when money is involved). That's the real issue here. I have a feeling that everyone else in that league will get screwed over eventually.

The reason why I think the commish got so much on the defensive, despite not being involved with the trade, is b/c my criticism of the trade caused a lot of commotion on the message board and for a couple of members to veto the trade, which put the commish in a tough position of whether to veto himself or allow the trade to stand

I will be the first to admit that I can be harsh with my smack talk, but I am never the first to start. Nevertheless, if my words are causing a disruption on the msg. board, then I could be banned from posting, but I should not be prohibited from playing if I did not interfere in any fair play of the game itself
