I think that it coming down to one stat is a little messed up especially if you dominated in the spots you won, and all the other ones were close. However, making it the ERA discourages the idea of streaming and I believe streamers are asses. Thank god I beat this huge streamer in one of my leagues, going to the finals baby! (in both my leagues)

While the rules are clearly stated in the beginning, I agree there should be another way to determine tie breakers in the future. The sole reason for this is the person with the lower ERA already achieved the tie by getting a point for having a lower ERA. This seems to me like double dipping. Whether they pick the team with the higher winning % during the regular season, or maybe take into account stats that were not scorable due to players being benched during the week. I also agree it should be an option available to commisioners of private leauges. A solution to this would be the ability to pick a stat category that is not scored in normal play. In public leauges this could be OBP or Fielding %, or frankly any of the other categories available to custom leauges. Just a thought.

That is why it should be a setting to tend to the customers wants. You are not the only person that likes the setting just like I am not the only person that dislikes it. That was all I was suggesting, whether you like the way it is makes no difference to me. I would like it to be a setting for the commish to set at the beginning of the year so there isn't all this confusion. That way everybody knows going in what the tiebreak is. Instead of seeing your team in the 3rd place game instead of the championship and wondering why? I have the support of the person that beat me plus others in my league that not only should the tiebreak be widely publicized, but that it should be a setting to begin with. And to reitterate, I didn't know that this was the tiebreaker system until this morning, so if it is so well publicized then don't you think everybody would know. Well contrary to what you think, there are plenty of people in my boat that had no clue and got screwed because of it. You never answered to my point that having the tiebreaker soley based on ERA being bias to pitchers as opposed to hitters in a clearly unbiased system according to you. It was only a suggestion that it be a setting to begin with, and for you to outright think that this is the best way to have it is preposterous. It is a customer based game therefore it should have customer based settings, including tiebreaks.
