I'm in a 10-team H2H league. If I could get some good solid opinions, that would be great. Thank you.
your OF is weak. But otherwise good team, and every team has some weaknesses. You just missed the ludwick, Quentin, and Bradley pickups...In which case you would be unstoppable. Also, you are short on Saves. On the whole tho a good team. do you lose pitching or batting cats more frequently? I would guess pitching, so maybe tinker with pitching via trades and FA.
Well Byrnes turned out to be a bust. I'm hoping he picks up now that he's healthy.
Franceour, for the most part, has been a bust this year. The increase in power that he was talking about in the offseason has led to nothing but a lower batting average.
I'd consider Figgins and Pena busts as well. Neither have pulled the numbers people were hoping for.
You have good outfielders, but no big name / big numbers guys and that might be weighing you down.
Your pitching staff is decent, though I'd prefer an extra closer or two.
I think you're in 8th place because you have a lot of "Pretty Good" guys, instead of "Great" guys.
I'd recommend trying some 2-for-1 deals, trading some a pair of "Pretty Good" guys for a "Great" guy, but I've been trying that myself, to no avail.
i have the kinda the same dilema, in a 10 team league everyone has a solid team and there are still solid guys on the wavier wire, you just have to hope for some hot weeks, and move up the standings
Here's what I have done and it's worked so far. Pick 1 guy for each hitting position and keep 1 bench player in case of injuries. The rest need to go. Trade.. Drop.. . whatever and get more pitching. Every benched hitter is wasted space that could be pitching. I have two HTH teams and one is in 1st and the other is 1 game out of first in second.

yea i have done the exact same thing, except i dont have ne bench hitters cuz 2 r on the DL. Church and Pujols, and i cant drop pitching, cuz i have two of my best on the DL, my two bad ones r owings who im trying 2 get some trade value 4 and Banks, the rest r non-droppable.
