Commissioner Corner Message Board
I play in a 12 team H2H league (stats are R, RBI, TB, OBP / W, S, ERA, WHIP).
I have Jake Westbrook coming off the DL tomorrow, and need to drop a player. I have what should be a good roster (though I'm really struggling).
C Napoli, 1B Fielder, 2B BJ Upton, 3B Braun, SS Rollins OF: McLouth, Quentin, Sizemore DH Ludwick, Ellsbury, David Murphy
SP: Sabathia, E. Volquez, E. Santanna, Owings,
RP: Capps, J. Soria, Chamberlain, Torres, and Scherzer
I like Westbrook, and need wins. But I don't know who to drop. I'm thinking David Murphy, though I'd hate to see another team pick him up (I haven't used him more than twice in the week that I've had him) or Scherzer. I know Scherzer is being widely dropped, but he's such an aid to ERA even in relief.
so drop Scherzer or Murphy for Westbrook? Or is there another name on my roster that I should toss? I had Corey Hart and Bengie Molina for a long time and dropped them, and now they're 2 of my brother-in-law's better players, so I'm always very careful to gift-wrap these guys.

Kershaw went last night. I would've added him, but am having that annoying fantasy problem of liking my roster too much (which is fine when you're on top of a league, less fine when you're in 8th place).
is the implication that I should just drop Westbrook? I'm a Cleveland fan and had high hopes for him this year.
I am ranked 11 out of 12 in wins (seems like Volquez is my only real bet for W's). This is part of the reason I'd like to put Jake to work. (I only have 19 wins on the year, 10 below league leader).
But Murphy is the 67th ranked player according to our standings....
