Gabe: Getting back to you! I'll fill you in on something first. I'm a retired PE teacher of special needs kids who had to stop working at 59 due to a disk disability in back. Didn't want to stop but had to and also had to give up things like golf, running, etc. So I turned to fantasy sports to have sort of hobby to compete in to replace the competivness of real sports. So i have alittle extra time to research stuff more than the regular fantasy player who has work and family to deal with. So I'm glad to be of help when guy's/gal's like you ask for some help. I do pretty well in fantasy baseball, football and BB mostly because i have the extra time to spend on it. JR vs.Mayo 1)JR. According to ESPN player rater sight for last 30 days JR has an over rating of 2.08 and last 15 days of 4.41. For comparison N.Robinson is about a rating of 7.95. JR has been a minus in FG%,FT%,Blocks and for the year is avg. 1.5 TO's a game. He's at about 34% at 3 pts. made. Obviuosly he will give you more 3's than Mayo by a wide margin solely based on alot more opportunities. 2) Mayo's rating for 30 days is 6.00 and for last 15 days it's 7.40. His only minus is in blocks. 3 pt. made % is 42% but shoots less of them. Lot's of steals, dimes but only otherbad stat, compared to JR,is he avgs. 2.8 TO's a game. But you must factor in he handles the ball alot more than JR and has more PT. Is a 85% FT shooter and JR is at 77%. Two other things to add if you don't know them 1) Mayo is coming off an injury and is listed as day to day. He might be good to gonow but I would investigate that 2) According to stuff I read recently and from an interview with Dirk Nowis. Coach Carlisle has been riding Mayo and collison to step up on their intensity and play harder on both ends. Dirk said it seemed to be paying off just before ASB. Thought you'd like to know that. So if it was me and I felt I could get along without ZBO and A.Davis I'd go for the Mayo/Ibaka trade. You'll be improving you 3's some, definitely blocks, your FT%,your FG % some, won't be hurting to replace points lost, get more steals and you won't have to worry about Mayo's TO's because your basically punting those at 1-9. Not sure how your RB's will be effected with loss of both Zbo and davis. Ibaka grab's alot, and Mayo not many. But if you've been way ahead each week in RB's then a minor hit will be fineseeing what else your gaining. Good luck Gabe and let me know 1) how it works out and 2) if you need more help.
By the way if you could express your opinionon this I'd appreciate the advice! I've been using Bledsoe and N.Robinson as temporary adds until Paul was healthy and Rose/Hinrich situation worked itself out for Bulls. Paul is back seemingly healthy but I'm holding Bledsoe to see how trade deadline will go. Don't think he'll go anywhere but if Idrop him now I know somehow he'll be traded, that's my usual luck. FA's are: Hayward(slightly injured and only 28 games left),J.Green(30 games left),N.Young(31 games left)? I'll be needing in order blocks,3's,FT% and steals to replace bledsoe's cat's. I've been told J.Green fits my needs the most ! Plus he'll be seeing alot of PT but so will N.Young but he's more of a steals,3's decent FT% type of player. Really like Hayward, and he's ready to come back plus he good across all stats, but I worry about his injury and he has 2-3 less games than the other 2. Thoughts on that? On Nate just read, while looking up your stats, than Hinrich will move back to PG and nate to bench. Going to see how PT play's out,as Bulls have 4 games this week, then make a move. Sort of a catch-22 here because hinrich is so injury prone and Nate is not as potent off the bench. Any thought on holding/dropping Nate would be a help. Thanks

Jeff Green has been great as of late. And I think he'll get a lot of PT, as you said. So I'd go with him. Hayward's back and he did pretty well yesterday, so I'd look at his progress. The Clippers have the least number of games (26), but yes if they move Bledsoe to a team lacking a good PG like Boston, then he'll definitely be a good fantasy player there as he'll see more PT. But if he doesn't get traded, I guess Hayward or Young are both quite good replacements. I hope this helps.
Whoa, it's good knowing people like you still exist in this world. :) Anyways, I don't think that Ibaka/OJ deal would push through, though I would love it if it did. Thanks for all the input. I'm really interested in Mayo because he's been the Mavs 1st option as Dirk isn't fully 100% yet. But even with Dirk, that helps OJ's assists. So back to the Zbo-Manu for JR-Bosh deal. He counter-offered me with me giving him WADE-ZBO and getting RUDYGAY-BOSH. It seems like an decent deal, but I can't give Wade up because I only have 2 SG-eligible players and it seems like I'm giving a bit too much up.
Here's his roster: Teague, Lin, Al Jeff, Brook, Redick, Ilyasova, Gay, Bosh, Josh Smith, Dirk, Gerald Wallace, Granger, JR Smith.

Gabe: Sorry to respond late but I have my daughter & Granddaughter here and i don't see them alot so i got busy. 1) Like i said this trade is very fair 2) Your right Kemba is getting warm now and those are stats Lee puts up occassionally but he's steady and Pek had an off night but alot of that had to do with OKC's big men. 3)Pierce got a stinger last night and he had it earlier in season too while Batum looked really good last night. 4) Asik and chandler are who they are 5)Only difference maker in this trade is PEK and Holiday but have super playoff schedule's along with Chandler. 6) Ginobli looked good too and may have DNP's and lower PT's down the line but those are the types of games he'll have. 7) earlier when you mentioned FA's you said Leonard & Beal were available. Are they still? Because I would have grabbed either over Ginobli. That's my mistake. If so you could keep what you have and add one of those instead to fit your needs. 8) My opinion is the trade is fair, with my only concern being will the Big Men side of it hurt your team at all. Batum/Holiday I like alot. It just comes down,as I said,to the playoff schedule part of it. You'll have more players available during that part of season. Either way you'll still be good for playoff's but will trade make you better. Tough decision and all I can say is you got this far by trusting your gut and it's worked out well. If you have any concerns about PEK,KEMBA or LEE let that be your determining factor plus schedule. Good luck and let me know your decision!
