    Kobe Bryant position eligibility

Kobe has started more than 5 games at Forward. When is Yahoo going to grant him a F position? Thoughts?

    • Exactly! He's started at SF for more than 5 games already. And he plays a great deal of SF even when he doesn't start at SG.
He definitely, unquestionably deserves to be given SF-eligibility now.
Everyone, please contact Yahoo and tell them to give Kobe his SF-elgibility!
I hear that ESPN already gave Kobe his SF-eligibility today!

      • Kobe is NOT a SF and there is no reason to change his eligibility. The only reason he is even playing there right now is because both Gasol and Howard are hurt so the Lakers are having to start a D-League player at C, Artest at PF and Darius Morris who is an end of the bench player at best at SG because they have no depth right now. It's a TEMPORARY situation, when the Lakers are 100% healthy Kobe is a SG. Do a Google search for "Yahoo Determining player eligibility in Fantasy Basketball" and the 2nd link has detailed description on how position eligibility is determined.

    • Per Yahoo: "Please note: If the position change is considered temporary or situational, position eligibility will NOT be adjusted. For example, a shooting guard who plays at small forward for a game or two to account for an injury, then returns to SG, will NOT receive SF eligibility."

I tried to link the whole article but Yahoo won't let me post a link...
