should i take J. Bayless with the #1 waiver priority?
please help!!

Gotta agree with the others, no way you burn a No. 1 waiver priority on Bayless. Call me crazy, but do not be shocked if Portland finds a way to get Rudy Fernandez in the starting lineup, which means Bayless could end up a bench warmer.

I don't think I'd use your #1 waiver priority on Bayless. It might be some time before he really contributes anything other than scoring, and even then I think his value will be somewhat limited this year.

I wouldn't. Bayless had a great summer league, but I don't know that it will translate to the Blazers and playing time right away. He's not a true point guard and I'm just not sure he'll get the minutes (at least at the beginning of the year) to make it worth while. Hold out with that number one...there will be someone worth grabbing...
