I'm trying to gather some information for my own project. My question is for fantasy players of all sports actually.
How many championships have you won? Total. Since you've been playing and include any won on other sites too like Espn, cbssports.com, etc.
I'm mostly interested in traditional "leagues" that involve drafting of players and season-long head to head matchups in the pro levels of football, baseball, basketball, hockey (no pick'ems, college, or tournament type leagues). I'd like you to count only the leagues you won where there were at least 10 owners in the league. I'm also interested in racing and golf fantasy leagues titles you've won.
Since I personally have yet to win any titles in anything other than football, my reply would be
4 titles (3 on yahoo, 1 on espn) Football all 10+ owners in leagues.
I know it might take a little research and this post may pass by and get buried. But I would like your responses. My email is email@example.com
I'm building a site to honor fantasy players who have had a storied success in the 10 years since it first hit the Internet. I will not use your information on the site unless I have permission.
Football - 4 championships yahoo 2004, 2006, 2007 and another (big money) league in 2007... (with a second place finish in 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007) I was obviously lousy in 2003.
Basketball - 1 championship 2006 (second 2005) and I'm hoping to win this year too... in the final 4...
Baseball - 1 Championship - 2005
I've been enjoying fantasy football since BEFORE we had internet sites. We used to get our match-ups, stats and standings from our commish on a handwritten and photocopied newsletter type thing... never won anything back then.
