12 team, H2H, standard scoring plus TO's.
My team currently:
D Williams, Tinsley, Nelson, Bibby, Alston
L James, R Jefferson
D Howard, Haywood, B Wallace
I made this trade:
I give: Aldridge/R Jefferson
I get: Boozer/Finley
Before the season, I was really high on Aldridge, but he just doesn't seem to be doing enough...maybe I'm wrong...I don't know. And, I don't think Jefferson can keep up this pace all season, plus hes due to get hurt any day now.
Boozer has slowed a little which is cause for concern and Finley is really nothing more than a streamer spot so I can rotate an SG through until I find one to stick with for awhile.
Anyway, did I mess up making this trade? I know I have too many PG's right at the moment. I'm working on trading Nelson, Tinsley or Felton (he was my only SG, so it was harder to trade him).
Thanks for any responses.
Good trade. You upgraded your starting lineup. As long as you upgrade your starting 10 players, you are doing fine. Drop Finley and start looking for more productive free agents, there are plenty. Also lower the number of PG to 2 (3 at most) and get more productive SG/SF/PF, that answer your needs in the standings.
you're doing great to pick up boozer...he'll be solid all year long. finley isn't worth much. you should get rid of a PG (keep d-will, tinsley, and MAYBE one more) and finley and pick up a SF/PF that is more productive.
What do you mean? Are you actually losing or something. That was a fine trade boozer was liable to slow down a bit but he will continue to produce you definitely got the best player out of the deal but i just don't know who would be small forward when James goes out but you should be fine I would think.
