I dont' think it's the trade everyone else does. the four to five thing is a stupid way to look at it. there's a reason you're in first place with the team you have and if it ain't broke don't fix it......that being said I always think a huge trade like that makes the season more interesting.
I mean Michael Redd's been hurt Kevin Martin has too, or is he still? I would take Baron over Dwane any day since the heat suck. Rudy and Kamen are having breakout years, and Ginobli throws up stats all over the place.
do it, through Redd is hurt, he'll be coming back soon and score big for you. the only think which might hurt your team by giving up the trade is manu's all around numbers in assists and steals. you aren't getting anyone who will be able to pick up the slack there. then again, chris paul is pretty good at picking the ball...
with camby, butler and wade combined with LJ, you should dominate boards, blocks and pts. in an eight team league, you have a redic team anyway and it shouldn't matter; you should easily be winning.
that being said: you would also want to consider how you are helping the competition out. since they are getting mad scoring, what are they getting out of the deal? would you be able to beat the team that you create for them?
accept it just because youre getting 5 all star caliber players and trading away just four good players. How can you go wrong with butler redd wade and camby let alone getting kevin martin too.(when k-mart comes off his injury he should produce right away)
