Just traded R.Jefferson/Al Jefferson/Tmac/Turkoglu/Ben Wallace for
In a 12team H2H league. My roster now is:
What do I need to improve on now? Who should I try to get rid of?
0.153 0.597 -1.1 -7.6 -5.5 7.8 0.2 1.4 -1.3
thats the advantage of your trade, ,with all the yahoo categories. for players who make a lot of points, rebs, etc. you are losing a medium of 3s, pts, and rebs. while gaining a lot in assists,ft and medium in stls and tos. HOWEVER. like the other guy said. jefferson - overperforming...if vinsanity or kidd gets back into shape these numbers will fall. and they will, so jefferson will dip. turkoglu - hugely overplaying. his numbers will fade over time. wallace - will get a little better though not by much. on the other hand, mcgrady - serious health issues!! your getting gasol who is SERIOUSLY underplaying right now. once he's in shape he's top 10. so virtually, you're going to have 3 top 15 players: gasol, lebron, and paul. good job.
Okay, all those people that are saying the trade is bad...what are you basing it on? Are you just looking at the names and waving your hands? Because in my mind from looking at the numbers, it was a moderate to huge gain.
Just from the numbers, the Jefferson^2 side gains about 1 and change 3s per game overall, 7 points, and 5-6 boards, while the other side gets HUGE improvements in both percentages and assists, and modest gains in steals, blocks, and turnovers.
Now, add into this, Richard Jefferson is MASSIVELY overachieving because of whatever combination of playing hurt/mailing it in that Vinsanity is doing, TMac is hurt AGAIN, and Pau Gasol is underachieving, and I think in the end the trade rates to be a monster gain for the poster.
I say good trade. If I had to compare them individually, I'd take Howard over RJ in the long run. CP3 over Tmac, AK over Turkoglu, Gasol over Big Al. I'd probably take Ben Wallace over Prince but just barely. Ben's having one of his worst seasons and nowhere near elite fantasy level anymore.
As far as what you need, I'd try to trade Brewer and someone else for a decent center(Haywood won't cut it as your 2nd C) and a player that specializes in 3's. Reason for Brewer, he's been seeing less minutes recently and the only thing he's really good for is steals, which you have plenty of now(Paul and AK) Maybe try gunning for someone like Ben Gordon or Eddy Curry. This should offset your loss in points from the trade.
to be honest i think that u gave up a better group of players and u recieved a less better one but thats my opinion because the players u gave away would be more consistent and help u win more in categories

in order to see what you need to improve on if you click on "view full standings" where it shows your points and record it'll show you how many points your earning for each category and where you stand with the rest of your league...i use that standings board when making trade and waiver decisions...i suggest that you do too
