    Playoff Formats

Does anyone think there's a chance Yahoo will allow for more custom settings for playoffs? Especially with leagues that have multiple divisions. It becomes a bit annoying when 2 teams from 1 division make the playoffs, and 4 from the other. I think there's alot of room for improvement in this area.

    • No, because that's just silly. Top seeds make it... the rest are wild cards

    • Hey nick I play the three division format for my leagues where you have the 3 division winners and three wild cards. You can set it up that way if you play divisions.

    • Well in general I don't care for the division head to head format. Someone gets to play the Jags and Raiders twice and someone has to play the Seahawks and 49ers twice, but I digress. Whatever you want to do with your playoffs is possible using the ( no playoff) format when setting up the league and also set it up for commissioner scheduling. This will allow the commissioner to publish the bracket in the league post and run it manually. The only drawback is that you may not get the correct virtual yahoo trophy. However if this is super important you can always change scores on the winners games until he ends the season with the most wins and then yahoo will give him the 1st place trophy.

    • To answer your question, there's always a chance (but I wouldn't hold my breath). Here's the web address to their playoff seeding options: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/fantasy-football/playoff-seeding-options-sln6988.html?impressions=true Hope this helps, good luck!
