Commissioner Corner Message Board
I know I am going to take alot of flack for what I am about to write, but then next year, I will not ever be involved in a PUBLIC YAHOO FANTASY LEAGUE EVER!!! The so called Commissioners that run these leagues have to be idiots.......I have been involved in many Fantasy Leagues ( Private), however, this year I had to choose the Public League as I lost my Commissioner this past year in January. I have tried numerous times to draft and have got absolutely nothing. What is the sense of playing w/stacked teams. I guess it has to do with the Commissioner for the 2 leagues that I am involved with, does not like to see a woman win!!! Get over it, there are women out there that know more about the game of Football than most men!!! I being one of them!!! As I said I am sure I will take a great deal of flack over this, but hey I have broad shoulders and I can handle the punishment. Going to let my teams roll and however I finish up so be it, I will stick to the pickem leagues, where you cannot cheat!!
Rave & Dee, no flack from here. Public leagues do appear to suck. Wish I was aware of you b4 draft day. I don't care if you are boy or girl or anything in between, or are from Mars. As long as you are involved. Not much to do about this year - if I have any owners #$%$ out on me in the next couple of weeks, I will post to you on this board to see if you are interested, And check this board - there are a lot of leagues looking for new owners now. Can't be any worse than where you are now. Good hunting!

yes public leagues are small and tend to be stacked. no one commishes them though. NEVER play public leagues. I quit a decade ago. it doesn't matter what gender anyone is most times being female myself...but years ago I was booted from a league who took a vote about my gender and age and came up with the bonehead idea that i'm a 13 year old male....rofl! there are lots of PRIVATE leagues out there to choose from so pick those that you like and stick w/them. gl!
