Edit League Setting to FAAB once season was started

How do you edit the league settings to FAAB once the league was started?

We entered the draft and "started the league" after our draft, now yahoo will not let us change the settings to FAAB. Any suggestions?

    • Answer is:

You have to reset your draft and make the changes...and then do your "draft again"....draft order will be saved and you just have to re-save it. No actual entry or re-draft. Worked fine for me.

      • .......interesting. We completed our auction and then played week 1 - our league does not allow any transactions until after week 1. We then went to start using FAAB but it was not originally setup as an option and now we can't edit it. If we were to reset the draft and restart the league, will that mess with the schedule that was set up? Or will doing so maintain the existing schedule?

    • I am in the same boot, see other message....someone please respond!!

      • After week 1 games were complete, I did the following:
        (1) Reset draft - first I printed up a copy of the auction, everyone's rosters and a copy of all the week 1 matchups and scores, plus printed the full season schedule
        (2) Turned on FAAB option
        (3) Manually entered auction results
        (4) Pressed begin league
        (5) My original schedule was still in place - matchups from week 1 remained the same, but with 0 scores for all teams. I used the adjust scoring in Commish tools to enter week 1 points scored.
        (6) About 10 minutes later the correct standings and records for week 1 displayed, so this appeared to function for our league.
