Thanks, for the help... after I thought about it for a while I figured it out. It was because she dumped him on Sunday instead of earlier in the week that he just happens to come off of waivers at the same time as everyone else.

  No dude is just as the other poster stated: you can't pick up a player you dropped of...
  
  No dude is just as the other poster stated: you can't pick up a player you dropped off waivers, you have to wait until the player clears waivers and claim him as a free agent if you want him back!
