Yes, but a better question is, why isn't there a waiver period?

    • waivers were off wednesday thru sunday. your right it is partially my fault but it was a family league. waivers were off so if you woke up sunday to an injury you could grab a guy off waivers.
i guess if you really want to get to know somebody, play in a fantasy football league. lesson learned. thanks for all the replies guys. good luck with the rest of your season.

      • Waivers being turned off isn't what allowed this to happen, it was how you set the league up. In the league settings, there's an option "time players are on waivers" which dictates how long players dropped are placed on waivers before they are allowed to be claimed by another team. You have that set to "no waivers" which cause players that are dropped to be picked up immediately on a first come-first serve basis. You should consider changing that to a min of 2 days to allow everyone in the league the opportunity to claim recently dropped players. Also, I would suggest making sure your waiver rules are set to "Game Time - Tuesday". That would accomplish what you want in regards to allowing owners to pick up players for last minute injury's.
