Commissioner Corner Message Board
The Gulf Coast Football League and the Gulf Coast Developmental League (also known as the Gulf Coast Rookie League for space constraint purposes, although experienced franchisees are HIGHLY welcomed) is now taking advance requests for franchises in the 2011 GCRL. This league is the predecessor to one of the most competitive and successful leagues in the Yahoo! forum, the Gulf Coast Football League. We even have our own INDEPENDENT robust website- www.gcfleague.com
If you are a resident of one of the five Gulf Coast states (FL, AL, MS, LA, or TX) and think you have what it takes to compete in the 2012 (yes, 2012) Gulf Coast Football League, here is your chance to prove it by showing your abilities against similar wannabes in the 2011 GCRL.
Your potential team name, which you should declare upon request for entry, MUST have a geographical relation of some kind to where you live, an island, a bay, river, mountain, city, state, ...
Check out our website, www.gcfleague.com,and see if you are interested. Members of the GCFL and GCRL will be invited to participate in EXCLUSIVE special leagues. More information on the webpage.
Thank you in advance. E-mail me at email@example.com or leave a message here if you are interested. Good luck in the league(s) of your choice. The Commish.

I think I have the "league full" issue solved. Yahoo reserves a place for every team you send an invite to, and unless you specifically delete a team from last year, it won't make room for the current season. I have deleted several teams from last year, and will delete several more if necessary. That issue should be resolved by now.
I predict this will cause a lot of commishes (is that a word?) to pull some hair trying to figure out this little trick. But the intent of Yahoo was sound.
I am very interested in this league. I am currently in another league that I am commissioner of. I take this very seriously. I would like to be in a league with people I don't really know, because my other league consists of all college friends. I live in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Team name: Black Warrior Bluefins.
