    un fair commissioner

what do you folks think of this. our commish says i cant start webb at wr but hes starting woodhead at wr . i lost the semi s cause he took webb out of my lineup. now hes locked the entire league out so no one can comment .this is a money league and cost me a couple hundred dollars.if a player is listed at 2 positions is it not right to start him at either?

    • I hope you know the guy because if you do then you know what to do. If you are one of the many players who play in a money league with a commish that you don't know then your just plain stupid. In any event if you all agreed to play strictly by the Yahoo! rules you got screwed! Personal note: I have Webb and did not play him and lost which did cost me the Championship only because I couldn't trust the game going out to Tuesday and have Favre do a Willis Reed on me. As far as I'm concerned any who to the chance had guts and should have been rewarded.

    • yeah thats some bull shit! I'll shoot the dude.

    • You got screwed. Woodhead won me a championship! What if Webb played WR, but threw a pass for a TD in a game on trick play? You would credit for a TD pass!

      You commish blows.

    • He is a Douche!

    • Tell him he is a fucking idiot. And a sore loser. He is just mad cause he was too dumb to figure it out before you did

    • You are getting screwed. If Woodhead can play at two positions, why not Webb! I am playing him in my league. Was a good pickup, unless Favre plays and ruins it.

    • This is a no-brainer. The player IS listed as both a Quarterback AND a WR, therefore allowing him to be played at EITHER position!

Here's the thing about your situation: YOUR COMMISSIONER NEEDS TO HAVE THE LEAGUE VOTE ON IT!

Seriously, THIS is what the whole point of the league democracy that is built into fantasy football. The commissioner has ZERO RIGHT to make such an arbitrary decision without gauging the feelings of the rest of the league managers about playing Webb at WR.

Now, IF a majority of your league votes that you CAN'T play Webb at WR (which I understand since he's playing the QB position instead, but again, he's listed as both for a reason) then you should abide by the leagues wishes. I have had to go up against my league a few times and lost, but I was more okay with it then I would have been if we hadn't voted on the matter first.

    • report him

    • I am begining to think that I am the only commissioner who allowed this to happen. I played someone who had Webb. I lost, he won. This was for the championship. I could have done what all the other commissioners' have done since he already called me a cheater. I changed the waivers to none and he said that i did that just so I could pick up Tamme. Not so, the week I picked up Tamme was not the same week or even close to when I changed the waivers. He jumped to untrue conclusions without checking first.

    • Thier is no way you should let a starting QB play as a WR. That would be way too unfair. Yahoo should fix this and list Webb as a QB only. Danny Woodhead is a different story, he is not going to make or break the commish. But you having two starting QB's in your lineup? I cant believe you would even argue this point. It makes you sound like a crybaby.

      • Woodhead is NOT a WR, yet you idiots have no problems playing him. In PPR, the man scores 20-30 points as a WR - a HUGE advantage and a top 5 WR performance. It's like starting 3 RB's instead of 2.

Webb is the same way, completely legal, completely within the rules, and NOT cheating. When the fantasy experts say to use him, then the morons with the butt hurt morlals can go back to Mamby Pamby land and cry together in a big Massengill party.
