    just picked up Joe Webb who has the designation of quarterback and wide receiver. If I play him in the WR spot, and he plays QB during the game, what kind of points can I expect? Will he get his QB points while I have him in the WR spot, or only WR points?

      I think it's cheating! Accordin to Yahoo! you will get QB points. According to the NFL and the Vikings home page Webb is only listed as as QB, not a WR.

      I'm playing someone who did that very thing and I don't think it's right at all. It's a snealy way to cheat and Yahoo needs to get their player positions correct!

I do see your point thought that it isn't exactly fair but if I don't do it then someone else in my league probably will.

        You can't screw the guy over who may have had him on his team as a WR, and then the Vikings removed him fromhis job as Wr and gave hime a different job as a QB, he needs to be listed as both. Like Woodhead and some other players.... deal with it.

        You should be happy if someone is playing him against you this weekend. Rookie, 6th round, RAW, Freezing Field and Temps, Bad O-Line, Chicago D. Sounds like a bad game for Webb.

For all you cry babies there are 12 multi-classed players in the yahoo league.2 qb-wr's, 5 wr-rb's, 3 rb-te's and 2 wr-te's.If you are drafted as a wr and are fortunate enough to get the chance to be a qb that doesnt mean you wont be a wr again. If matt ryan went down the same thing would have come up. It pays for a team to draft multi talented players to better fill in after injuries happen.This year we have had our share. Woodhead started due to rb injuries. Mccluster started due to wr injuries. Webb as u all know due to qb injuries. What if Ramsey starts and Harvins out and Webb plays wr, should he get no points cause he not starting at qb? Come on man!!!

      You will get all the points he makes, but this thread could be much ado about nothing. Kyle Orton earned 36.88 points in week 12 and negative 0.86 points in week 14. There are no guarantees. Webb will be playing in an outdoor college stadium in freezing weather at night against a tough Chicago defense. He has thrown only 5 passes for 8 total yards in his NFL career. Anyone who uses Webb this week is assuming a certain amount of risk.
