Should teams not vying for top 6 spots

    John,
I disagree...an owner who's season is essentially over should not add or drop or in any way affect the outcome (good or adverse) of an owner vying for the payout. In a worse case scenario an owner could dump his team and put talent in the pool that does not or should not belong yet at the same time claim he is just managing his team.
How would you feel if for instance Matt Cassel is your only QB...you need to replace him, you are in 6th place, and the guy in 12th place claims your best free agent QB....he is not in the playoffs. His season is over. In your world he could even add 6 QB's to his bench...because there is no rule against it

    • in my leagues, it states that non-vying teams may not drop players into the pool after play-offs start.

      • Thank you and John G for weighing in...I will have to dig into the rules as I should have done already. We had an owner drop his whole team at the end of last season and I did have to enact a good sportsmanship clause as stated in the rules as Yahoo did not have a verbatim rule prohibiting this "little detail".
Got that John...just for you I used "little detail" so you may again run with my verbiage and attempt to further trash my abilities as Commish....(as bad as they are)....instead of making your point with out vile putrescence spewing from your oh so superior Brain.

    • it's not a matter of whether the player should...or should not be allowed to do ...whatever....you're missing my point, which is that this should have been understood before the season started...instead of suddenly imposing a new rule....whether it be a good rule or a bad rule.
