Commissioner Corner Message Board
Hey there, Hawk,
I have a few questions for my final matchup (I'm projected to win by a large margin, but hey, you never know).
Should I play Hester vs GB or Sidney Rice vs Det?
Do you think Ricky Williams has a chance of getting any valuable points when they face NE?
Right now I have Tamme and Witten as starting TE's, with Todd Heap as a sub. Should I leave it like that for the final week?
Joe Webb. I am winning 110.40 - 89.72 in a full point PPR league. He has Roddy White (who is even bigger in PPR) and I have Joe Webb. I proactively dropped my entire bench for WR's playing tonight and tomorrow. I picked up Jenkins, Avant, Berrian, D. Henderson, Harry Douglas and Greg Camarillo in order to block him should White not be able to go, but I heard he practiced Friday. I am waiting to see how White does 1st. If he doesnt do enough to take the lead I will just pull out and leave it empty. Problem with that is what happens if there is a Stat correction? I wouldnt want a Tolbertesque performance (-2.20 either). If he takes the lead I will then decide on Webb. What do you think of this strategy and fairness wise?

nice choices for sure, i say blount and green-ellis, even though jennings could easily go off, i think blount and ellis are the safest sure bets. if you want to start jennings, then bench blount
championship game flex spot Santana Moss (1/4 ppr) or Rashard Jennings (if MJD is not going to play)..also would you start Garrard over banged up Rodgers?
other starters: Foster, Hillis, Tamme (w/t flex), Colston, White, S.D. Def, Kaeding
others on bench: P.Thomas, Harvin, Grossman, Addai, Ward-Houston
Hey Hawk I already posted on the "who to start" board so if you get to this one first disregard that question. So since im posting I obviously made it to the championship game. Before I post my question I would like to thank you for your great advice through out the year as well as your weekly rankings, they've been a great help. Also I wanna say happy Holidays. This week I wanna give you all my options and if you dont mind if you could let me know what you think my best lineup is. Thanks again Hawk.
QB: Ryan (Garard and Kitna are FA)
WR: Joe Webb or (Floyd or Williams(Seattle))
TE: Winslow or Daniels
RB/WR: Westbrook (or Hightower or Ward but it sounds like Foster is fine. Obviously any of my WR could also play this spot.)
K: Graham or Rackers
D: Dallas(@ Ari.) Miami(vs.Det.), TB(vs. Sea.) Jacksonville(vs.Wash.)
Thanks again Hawk

hey matt, congrats on getting to the championship game!
my thinking for your lineup is....
qb - i agree with ryan slightly over garrard
wr - roddy for sure, then its a toss up....but i think webb does offer you the highest upside
rb - hillis and charles like you have them
te - im going with winslow here
wr/rb - tough to see a clear favorite....but i do agree with westbrook. although maybe there someone else you could pick up for this spot... tashard choice?
k - graham and the patrios offense
d - tb against a weak seattle offense
