    TENNESSEE DEFENSE SCORE?

    Did yahoo get it wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • if in scores and settings, points against falls under Defense/Special Teams, then a kickoff or punt return, all but pick 6 should count against just as it counts for (in pick 6 neither your D nor your Special Teams is on the field so shouldn't count against), otherwise change Defense/Special Teams to Defense/Special Teams Positives

    • They finally changed it! Yahoooooooooooo!!! 2-0-0. Thank you.

    • Justice is served (a little late). Good job Yahoo.

    • sorry, just venting. it appears yahoo is the only one who is "investigating" this hand off.

    • It doesn't matter what it is, whether it was a handoff, the returner did backflips, juggled the ball like a clown, dougied his way to the endzone etc. The opposing team took the ball and ran it toward the end zone scoring on the Titans defense/special teams.

When this happens, it affects both defense/special teams, Steelers d is award the score and titans D is gets penalized for allowing the score.

As said in recent post, there is no argument no investigating anything regarding whether it was 13 or 19. It's 19, period. The only thing we should be debating about now is "when" yahoo will fix it. I believe by tomorrow morning, as my score just went up a few points due to dj Williams .50 stat correction.

    • Ok, got something back from Yahoo :

      Hello,

Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Fantasy Sports.

I appreciate you bringing the issue with the Titan's Points allowed
total for week 2 to our attention. I know that this comes at an
inconvenient time for you and your league, and for that, I apologize. We
are working on this issue, and we will have it corrected as soon as
      possible.

We are investigating the points allowed total for the Titan's during
week 2, and we will apply a stat correction during the nightly update as
soon as the official ruling is determined. We believe the hand off that
occurred during the play is impacting the scoring and we hope to have a
final decision and resolution on the issue ASAP.

If you have any other comments or questions, please reply to this email,
and we will gladly assist you.

Thank you again for contacting Yahoo! Fantasy Sports.

      Regards,

    • Can u make him post it up? because based on that email reply from yahoo posted a bit up, they arent checking a damn thing about this... we might as well face it and move along.... i'll for sure move my league some place else next year tho.....

    • It would seem to me even if the Pittsburgh special teams exeuted a reverse to score the touchdown, it is still a touchdown scored against Tennessee's DST.

    • OK I got a reply...they didn't even read my e-mail:

      Hello,

Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Fantasy Sports.

I appreciate your inquiry with regard to defensive points allowed.

The number of points allowed by a team defense in Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football will not always match the final score posted by their opponent in their real-life game.

For example: If Oakland is playing Pittsburgh and the final score is 34-7 in favor of Pittsburgh, the Oakland defense would be credited with only 22 points allowed if the Pittsburgh defense scored two touchdowns via interception or fumble return.

A team's defense is not responsible for those points allowed while their team's offense is on the field. They are, however, responsible for all kickoff and punt return points allowed.

In Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football, scoring for the Points Allowed category in leagues using Team Defenses will include the following situations:

      - All TDs scored against the defense.

      - All FGs scored by the opponent.

      - All PATs (Extra Points and 2-PT conversions).

      - Special Teams Scoring (kickoff and punt returns for touchdowns, as well as blocked punts returned for Touchdowns).

      - All other scoring categories chosen within the league.

Note: Points scored against the team's offensive unit (i.e., interception and fumble returns for TDs, FG blocks returned for Touchdowns, and safeties) will NOT be counted in the Points Allowed category.

Scoring in the Points Allowed category is standard in all leagues, and cannot be modified to include or exclude points of a certain type.

We value your interest in Yahoo! Fantasy Sports. If you have further comments or questions, please feel free to reply to this email, and we will gladly assist you.

Thank you again for contacting Yahoo! Fantasy Sports.

      • I sent them another e-mail:

Dear Marshall or to Who it May Concern,

Did you even read the contents of my e-mail? Or check the statistics on the Tennessee Titans Defense?

This is a direct quote from you (Marshall):

"In Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football, scoring for the Points Allowed category in leagues using Team Defenses will include the following situations:

        - All TDs scored against the defense.

        - All FGs scored by the opponent.

        - All PATs (Extra Points and 2-PT conversions).

        - Special Teams Scoring (kickoff and punt returns for touchdowns, as well as blocked punts returned for Touchdowns)."

        In addition:

"A team's defense is not responsible for those points allowed while their team's offense is on the field. They are, however, responsible for all kickoff and punt return points allowed."

Based on this information, you REALLY NEED TO DOUBLE CHECK that Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Tennessee Titans score for Week 2 of the 2010 NFL season.

        1st Quarter
        14:46 Pittsburgh Steelers PIT TD
Tennessee kicked off, Antonio Brown returned kickoff for 89 yards (Jeff Reed made PAT)

        2nd Quarter
        14:12 Pittsburgh Steelers PIT FG
Jeff Reed kicked a 36-yard field goal
        0:00 Pittsburgh Steelers PIT FG
Jeff Reed kicked a 34-yard field goal

        3rd Quarter
        None

        4th Quarter
        14:56 Pittsburgh Steelers PIT FG
Jeff Reed kicked a 25-yard field goal
        4:59 Pittsburgh Steelers PIT FG
Jeff Reed kicked a 27-yard field goal

To make it easier, I will add up the points for the Pittsburgh Steelers:

        1st Quarter = 7 points
        2nd Quarter = 6 points
        3rd Quarter = 0 points
        4th Quarter = 6 points

        7+6+0+6 = 19 (NOT 13)

Yahoo currently has the Tennessee Titans Defense with 13 PA. It's glaringly obvious that this is NOT true! The Tennessee Titans Defense had 19 PA!

Please do not send me another automated reply!

    • Wow totally right...that is some serious BS
