    I run a couple of keeper baseball leagues and am trying to apply the rules of one of them to football. It is light pay ($25) with all money returned in prizes. Please read the rules below and if interested, you can join using the following information - the league is in Yahoo:

    I am looking for new owners to join and pay the $25 prior to the draft. Am looking to replace some who have joined but not paid.

    Super Keeper Football League Rulebook

    Teams: 16 teams

    Contributions: $25

    First Place $240
    Second Place $100
    Third Place: $60

    Scoring Type: Head to Head

    Stat Categories: Standard Yahoo Football Statistics though I will consider changes and have the league vote on them


    Keeper Rules:

    Ten keepers per team.

    Four year limit on keepers

    Players can receive a four year guaranteed contract according to the following rules.

    If more than 48 players of Yahoo’s top 100 players March 15 are available in the draft, players in the first 3 rounds receive guaranteed contracts.

    If between 32 and 47 players of Yahoo’s top 100 are available in the draft, players in the first 2 rounds receive guaranteed contracts.

    If between 16 and 31 players of Yahoo’s top 100 are available in the draft, players drafted in the first round receive guaranteed contracts.

    If less than 16 of Yahoo’s top 100 are available in the draft, then no guaranteed contracts are awarded.

    There is a maximum of 6 total guaranteed rounds for the league at one time (so you will always have the opportunity to have four keepers not drafted with guaranteed contracts – assuming you have not traded for more players with guaranteed contracts)

    A player with a guaranteed contract may not be released except during the final season of the guaranteed contract (in the regular season). A player with a guaranteed contract may not be released earlier than that and if somehow released may not be picked up by any other team.

    If players with guaranteed contacts are released, the owner loses a keeper for the duration of the contract. These players can be traded, but the contract is still guaranteed for the next team

    When can a guaranteed contract end early?
    -- when a player officially retires
    -- when a player dies
    -- when a player is not present in Yahoo when keepers are selected

    In case of retirement or a player not being present in Yahoo, the owner needs to let the commissioner know.

    A players four year clock resets when he is a) drafted or b) released and picked up by another team
