Commissioner Corner Message Board
I need your help
I am the commish in a 10 team money league, and 1 guy seems to not know what he is doing.
A trade was just accepted between two members.
Team 1 just picked up Donal Driver from free agency
and he just traded him straight up for deangelo williams.,
Should I veteo it? The guy will get all pissed off, but I cant let that stand can I?
the guy in your league is cheating he has 2 team in there or his kid or something is giving him players.
this happened to me last year. a manager got 2 teams into 1 of my pools. he used a different yahoo email account and made another team. that is why i commish 99% of my pool and i ask everyone to show their email address.
cheating like that, its a douche way to try and win or play fantasy sports.
veto the trade, and put the players back on original team. then lock team 1.
if he is not cheating, then you must decide if this trade will upset the balance in the league.
its obviously lopsided.

Thanks John and West coast.
I know they are not one team, they are people from my work. I do know however team trading D will said to the guy receiving him a week back, u get me a job in the other department he is all yours in a joking manner. So...
Might be shady stuff going on, but I hate lopsided trades and hate using my Veto.
Does the team that gives up Williams have lots of RBs that are just as good as him and is also thin at WR? If not, I don't see how this trade could possibly help his team. So if he does something that clearly is against the interest of his team, a commish should veto it.
I would have already overruled the release of Driver and put him right back on the original team. Releasing a clear starting WR is also obviously against the interest of the team. And Fantasy Football ain't fun if some people don't even try to win.
Your job as comish is to look at trades and make sure they are fair. You cannot be too harsh but if it looks unquestionably like it is a stupid or uneven trade then you owe it to the league to VETO.
If the trade is unbalanced but not too much so then you got to let it go through.
You must not play favorites and that includes concerning your own team.
The league will appreciate that and the members will want to play year after year.
