New league: Yahoo recommended format
Three years ago, Yahoo suggested the format we're using in this league. Basically, we added (1) extra player at each position w/ the exception of kicker. After playing for several years on a (10) team league, we decided to with only (6) teams. Net result: Everyone has the opportunity of having a great starting lineup...but the most skilled players have the advantage in coming up w/ a good draft strategy. The extra players on the field can create a drafting nightmare. Do you pick up the second quarterback early...the second rb...or do you go with the absolute stud wr, like Andre Johnson? After (3) years of playing this format...I'd be bored stiff going back to standard formats. Dont be fooled: if you think it's easier to win because of league size, and/or the depth of bench... think again. If you'e not an experienced, knowledgeable fantasy player...beware! Rookies: enter at your own risk!!!

The only thing we ask is that you're diligent to play a full lineup...don't quit in the middle of the season if you believe you're out of contention.
