Commissioner Corner Message Board
Really don't get the confusion here.
1. The saints defense wasn't on the field therefore they cannot score points of any kind.
2. Even if you're one of the idiots that believe that the Saints offense somehow transformed into the Saints defense because of the interception, you're still screwed because guess what ... When Meachem stripped the ball/recovered the fumble, he is NOW back on offense !! It's really that simple
Everybody reread Stew's first post.
Even if you accept the transformation from O to D premise on change of possession, there were TWO turnovers. Meechem would go on D after the INT, but then revert back to O after he stripped the ball away.
Whether he gets points for the TD depends on your league settings. Look and see if the Offensive Fumble Recovery box is checked. That's the only way he would get credit for the TD.
I can't see any way the N.O. defense should be getting 6 points here.

ok....so by YOUR reasoning.....if randy moss is on defense at the end of the game.....and intercepts the ball.....and runs it back for a TD.....Moss should get a offensive TD???....or the defense should get a TD??.....cause he is not a "defensive player" although hes playin on the defense at the moment...so please let me know
