    • id lean to Bogaerts as he will give you more power, Betts more SB. They are both high OBP guys. Id try to keep both and drop someone else.

    • Yahoo Andy Behrens wrote.... Betts hitting .355/.443/.551 at Double-A then .322/.425/.444 for Triple-A Pawtucket. He's swiped 29 bags in 34 attempts across two levels, hitting eight homers and 21 doubles, scoring 70 runs and driving in 48. The most impressive thing about Betts might just be his command of the strike zone. He's drawn 51 walks so far this season, striking out only 33 times. His career minor league on-base percentage is .408; he's had more walks than Ks at every stop. Bottom line: You want him...He offers respectable power and excellent speed...
CBS Scott White wrote in his chat...Yeah, Xander Bogaerts is slumping, but I'm still convinced, based on his pedigree and the way the first three months have gone (as opposed to the last few weeks), a midseason breakout is coming.
I recall Bogaerts pedigree to be to hit for BA, OBP with good power for the SS position, but no speed. I seems to me Betts may spell Bogaerts with speed. I own both, but diff leagues.
