Who to Start Message Board
I have four closers going on my team at all times. It's also the max that I can have because the way the pitching is set up like this:
SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, P, P
My four closers are:
Leo Nunez (18 saves)
Ryan Madson (9 saves)
Joel Hanrahan (13 saves)
Sergio Santos (8 saves)
I also have Andrew Bailey on my DL...any suggestions on what to do with whom when he is activated? I also read that Bailey will not be put into the closer's role right away; it's something management wants to ease him into after a string of good outings.

I'm actually pretty well rounded, especially after picking up guys like Joyce, Berkman, Brantley, and a few pitchers early on off of the FA list. I doubt I'm going to be pulling off any more trades because no one is offering, and anytime I do throw something out there it gets shot down. The only trade I was able to pull off was when a guy offered me A-Rod straight up for Ike Davis...how that didn't get vetoed I'll never know. Anyway, here is the team in case you were interested:

Makes sense. I'm also waiting out the situation with Madson. At this point it's his job to lose, however, Contreras is back and Lidge is on the horizon. He only had the one bad outing the other night, so if he bounces back then all is good and the 9th inning is his. If not, however, they might end up doing the closer shuffle again and Madson wouldn't be nearly as effective as holds are not a stat in this league.
I guess time will tell. Thanks for the input.

Thanks for the reply but I don't need any more starters...I have 8 and just rotate them in the 3 SP spots as the week goes along. Here's a link to the team in case it helps:
