Who to Start Message Board
I think the smallest would be SS. After the top 5 it drops off pretty quick. Deepest would be 1st base. Trying to figure out what keepers to stick with. What do you think.
2B is shallowest, all the top players have issues (Utley, Kinsler, and Pedroia all injured last year for long periods, Weeks was injured every year but last year) and all the bottom guys underperformed
1st base has 14 out of the top 100 players and 5 of the top 20.
2nd base - 9 players and 2 respectively
3rd base - 10 players and 3 respectively
SS - 7 players and 2 respectively
OF - 29 players and 5 respectively
C - 5 players and 0 respectively
divide OF by three position to 10 players and 2 respectively
Thus I would say Catcher is the weakest and smallest position avaiable. If you have Mauer, Martinez, McMann, Posey, or Santana, they are almost obvious keepers due to position scarcity
