I get to keep any 3 players, this is a 20 team league, any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks
Some of you are dumb!!!
Why keep Lackey? I can draft a SP in the 8th round with the same numbers as him.....
Why keep Rivera? Is it because he's a year away from retiring or is it because he plays at an insanely deep position?
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER keep a RP!!!!!
One of Lind or Cano is the obvious choice. I prefer Cano simply because OF is the easiest position to draft or add FAs to.
Tex, Haren and a toss up b/t Cano and Lind. I do think, however, that Lind will outperform Cano. But Cano is a nice 2Bman to have on ur roster.
DO NOT KEEP A RP as one of ur three. You can get a great relief pitcher later in the Draft.
You gotta go with your best players... Teixeira (playing in the American League Coors Field), Dan Haren (top 20 SP) and Mariano Rivera (arguably best closer of all time). That last point was hard to admit seeing as though im a Redsox fan. I feel those are your best bets. I was torn on Lackey and Haren but Haren faces a weaker league in the NL and in a decent pitchers park and faces the pitchers spot 2 times a game.

Let me put it this way.......Why keep a RP? You can get saves the last 3 or 4 rounds. Mo is probably going to retire next year so keeping him would make little to no sense.....As far as Lackey? what has he done in the past few years? Been average, above average if you want. However, you can EASILY draft him round 8-12 this year. He isn't a top guy anymore......Cano is a stud. The is absolutely no arguing that. I think the Granderson will help him out a bit. Whatever the case, he'll be a 4-7 round guy in the draft. Why not get him? If you really want the other two then just redraft them.......
Cano is the answer, and honestly, an incredibly easy one.
