I based this on potential not fantasy value. Let me know what you guys think. Anyone im missing? Anyone too high or too low?-
I think rasmus should be higher, as well as wallace with glaus out for the first month or so, will tear it up, and win the starting gig. P.S. yes i'm a cards fan, and also watch perez and motte at the end of games, there's 200 m.p.h. between the twos' heaters...

Where do you rank Eric Hosmer (1B from KC). I have seen him ranked as #2 for KC and pretty highly ranked for all 2009 prospects. His bat has been highly talked about...

i had hosmer at 26...i just dont see anything in him especially with the comparison of him to casey kotchman that i often hear...i also hear he doesnt hav very good power which puts him behind the other draftees that i put on there such as Alvarez, Smoak, and Wallace

What about your top 25 FANTASY prospects for this year?
-
your missing yonder!!! Andrus and Mccutchen are wayy to low.

I think its a good, but you are missing a couple guys Trevor Cahill and should be on here. I dont no about Beckham and Alveraz and Wallace and Smoak because they have yet to prove anything but they are still top prospects. I would put proven guys on there and take those 4 off. If I were to put guys on there who were just drafted in 08 wallace wouldnt be one of them tho he is good, I would go with Posey instead or Alonso or Matusz.
Some of these guys who have posted are idiots one guy named a whole bunch of white Sox guys who arnt even top 100 prospects except mybe Fields. He didnt even name there top prospect Poreda.
I would proablly put Mat Gamel on there and Fernando Martinez and probally Jarrod Parker who is a stud SP.- 1 Reply to brent l

all those people are respectable also...i see where you're coming from in respect to alvarez and beckham being on there but i dont understand what you're saying about wallace...he was one of the only 08 draftees to get good amount of playing time and he impressed greatly in a short amount of time...he was even impressive in the AFL which was filled with high level top prospects so i think there's no way you can reject him the top 25...as for fernando he's been either injured or just flat out underacheiving...also gamel got a lot of consideration for my top 25 but i gave the nod to justin smoak...however the more i think about that move the more i think that theres no way some one who hit as well as gamel can be lower than someone who hasnt even played a game yet such as smoak

Your list is pretty good, but you missed the White Sox prospects, Getz, Fields, Anderson, Owens, and Richard. All these guys are going to play big roles next season.

Why? Who cares? With the exception of Price, do you really want any of these guys on your team April 1st?
-
Elvus Andrus is expected to start the year at SS for Texas, yet you have him ranked last
