    Should I offer this?

    Johan/Halladay for David Wright? I could really use an offensive boost and while I know Johan will turn it up in the 2nd Half, would the boost of Wright in this lineup be worth the loss of either Johan or Halladay?

    12 Team, H2H, 5x5, I'm in 9th and have been losing regularly in the offensive categories.

      NO! Then you will be losing regularly in all pitching categories. You're team is not that bad to do something as drastic as that. Vmart will improve and escobar has been solid.

      If pitching is your bread and butter don't get rid of the knife (Johan) who make it come together. It depends on the rest of your pitching staff. Don't loose Johan, try getting rid of maybe your second or third best pitcher for a bat. Or search your waiver wire, you might want to look at some guys coming off the DL who MIGHT produce and some other team didn't want to (or couldn't afford to) wait for them to come off. It's early yet, next week look at your position in the standings. Be a .500 team now and you might get carried by some random guy who gets hot in the last couple weeks.

      Is this a weekly league? If it is, I would say no way. You need those two horses to carry your staff. If it is a daily league, I think you will be able to trade either Johan/Halladay and another lesser pitcher such as Burnett or Cabera and get Wright. Plus, I think your hitters will turn it around also. V-mart and Howard can get hot, you have Pence who is a streaky hitter, might get you some big weeks and Bruce looks like the real deal. But I would try to trade Johan/Burnett for Wright and a closer.

        Thanks, also accidentally gave you 4 instead of 5 stars. I offered V-mart, Burnett and Cabrera before I read your post. Should I wait until he accepts/rejects it? Or should I cancel it and offer a trade w/out Victor since there's not much on the wire for C's.
