your pitching is VERY deep. i HIGHLY suggest trading Sheets. he's going to get a lot of Ks but he's also going to bring your WHIP up quite a bit. you can start Contreras.
And if you do decide to trade Sheets (he's also injury-prone) try to get a decent first baseman instead of kothman. and it also looks like you need saves desperately with Ryan finally getting around to closing every game. but yeah what you need is a 1B and saves.
you can also try to deal/drop joyce and move fukudome to the OF slot. you do not need joyce at all, especially when Willingham gets back from his DL stint. so yeah.
I don't think Joyce is going to be an everyday player. He's going to be platooning with either Shef or Thames in left, so I don't know how much fantasy value he's going to have going forward. How deep is your league, so I know if Contreras is worth holding onto?
I didnt even know Jose Contreras was still in the league. Lose that dude.
I agree with maybe shipping McLouth and Sheets if you can. Napoli should be fine with. It dpends on who is out there.
Also Joyce was a good get. and Kotchman is a bonified allstar

1st of all, how could you not know Contreras was still in the league after his performance a couple of nights ago!?!?!
2nd of all, I agree with that point. except you may want to get a more active catcher, thats the only knock on napoli
3rd of all, Kotchman is NOT a "bonified allstar". he has to maintain that for a least a year before you can say that about a player.
I would try to trade Nate Mclouth, currently he is ranked 4th overall and has been over-achiving all season. I would try to parlay his great start into a trade for a proven player like Carlos Lee, who has topped the leauge in RBI and HR for the last 5 years. I would like to see a better firstbaseman, your pitching is stacked so offer a trade including one of your top pitchers and Kotchman for a better player at first, or sell high on Mclouth right now, maybe try to land Lance Berkamn... possibly offer Mclouth and Haren for Berkman or Mclouth & Hamels for Berkman. You pitching staff is good enough to be able to use one of your top pitchers as a trade chip.
There are a lot of good OF out there that could improve your standing;I also had Kotchman and dumped him during slump-d
dont know if he can snap out of it.I would def try to improve on
Okajima to a true closer,if possible.I also would hold onto Sheets for at least one more try.
ive had kotchman from day one he is in a slump but will snap out keep him
joyce i would drop him
and sheets u probly can get a half decent pitcher for him i was able to get carlos zambrano but thats cuz the guy i did the deal with was crazy :)
other then that u got a good team
You pitching is pretty darn good. Kotchman was a good pickup, and I haven't heard about Joyce yet. Wait for Sheets to get hot, and then trade him for his max value. Overall, a pretty good team. Work on getting a better catcher.
