good trade?
I get-Holliday
I give-Burrel and Phillips
I already have Utley at 2nd-
bad deal. Phillips has similar value to Brandon Phillips due to the thinness at 2nd base. Yes Holliday is a little more valuable, but not "adding the league leader in RBI's" more valuable.

the thing is I have Utley at second so Philips never played except i put him on utility a couple times over Crawford and I would rather have Holliday than Burrel
-
shoulda kept burrell
hes on a roll continuing from last year and it will continue
at least 30 hr and 115rbi -
If u already have utley then yeah but is your outfield going to be strong enough without Burell?

Burrel won't be consistent for me and he probably wont exceed 25 hr in my opinion because he is hot now but will soon crash
Holliday will be consistent all year and not make me have to guess when he will do good and when he will not like Burrel will
-
how does the rest of your outfield look? whether or not you have utley means nothing if he gets injured or hits a slump. do you have another 2b besides phillips and utley? there are more factors than just "look at this trade". just my opinion. Good Luck!!!

I have Ian Kinsler as another back up 2B
and my outfield is Burrel Markakis and Beltran with Corey Hart and Adam Dunn on the bench
-
Do it gotta sell Burrell high right now cus when he comes back down to earth you will be banging ur head on the wall for not pulling the trigger
-
no dont do it you're giving up too much. burrell is really hot right now and phillips is gonna heat up
-
Good Trade...Holliday is just not getting W's but his ERA.K,and WHIP is Off the meter right now....since you have Utley you can afford to give up phillips to bolster your pitching staff...Just remember with burrell...he's hot but he'll cool down. Good job using burrell as trade bait by selling him high!

Matt Holliday dipshit

heck no... not both of those guys for holiday. maybe phillips for holiday because i doubt he'll give you holiday for burrell straight up.
whoever's getting phillips is probably getting a HUGE improvement over their current 2Bman. by the end of the year, philips will have 30 HRs and 30 SBs. In fact, I wouldn't make the trade. Find yourself a free agent OFer and keep racking up points dude. -
not a good trade cuz burrell is on a roll and is T2 for homeruns not only in the NL but MLB as well and holiday isnt that great so far. plus, phillips is ok this year. i would have kept for sure burrell and maybe kept phillips 2.
-
Not really. Holliday has'nt been as good as he was. Pat Burrel is just too good to trade.

I disagree with these guys that are high on Burrel. I agree that he is on fire, but I have been playing fantasy for several years and he is a very streaky hitter. When he cools off, he will be just as cold as he was hot. Holiday on the other hand is a stud and can carry a team. Since he has cooled right now, you have the perfect opportunity to get him at a discount. You are getting excellent value for Burrel. Don't listen to them.
