So ive been offered a trade of Derosa for Texeria, even though Derosa is hitting well at the moment Teixeira has to get going eventually. Im thinking this is a no brainer accecpt the trade, but Derosa plays everywhere and i is my current 2nd baseman, with Uggla playing like dirt.
I have morneau and billy butler but would rather have a combo of morneau and texeria.
So do I ride the hot hand now, or trade it away and stash Teixeira untill he eventually gets going?
No kidding, tex is an easy call. DeRosa is AAA compared to Tex, who always plays better in the second half anyway. If you make decisions now based on a two week hot streak, you have no chance in this game. Remember Chris Shelton a couple of years ago!
Might be the worst trade offer I've seen all season. Derosa for Teixeira, are you serious? Teixeira is a top 20 player, Derosa isn't even in the top 200. Enough said.
yeah i know there may be a veto, but the league im in doesnt really pay attention. I was 11 on the wavier wire and was able to pick up Okajima when someone dropped him, so im not really worried
