CRAWFORD OR PEAVY???
I was offered this trade
I get: Jake Peavy
I give: Carl Crawford
Here's my team
C-Ramon Hernandez
1B-Travis Hafner
2B-Robinson Cano
3B-David Wright
SS-Rafael Furcal
OF-Carl Crawford
OF-Hunter Pence
OF-Matt Kemp
Util-Derrek Lee
Bench-Jim Thome
Bench-Rickie Weeks
Bench-Johnny Damon
Bench-Michael Bourn
SP-Erik Bedard
SP-Tim Lincecum
RP-Takashi Saito
RP-Matt Capps
P-Ben Sheets
P-Jered Weaver
P-Jon Lester
Bench-Dontrelle Willis
Based on how my team looks, should I take the trade????
I could have a good pitching staff, but there are certainly question marks IMO; Lincecum (lack of Ws), Weaver (inconsistency), Willis (major inconsistency, Sheets (health)-
Lots of bad advice above. Steals are SO easy and cheap to replace, you can make up for crawford's output. Get Peavy and be thankful you are being forgiven for making a mistake in the first round.

You should trade Crawford for some legit power. Crawford is over-rated relative to his draft rank. You have enough speed. Find a trading partner and make it happen.

TAKE PEAVY. Crawford is really overated anyway and you already have a decent hitting lineup without him and you will most likely win most of the pitching catogories if you take this trade.
-
Kind of a toss-up. You didn't mention the scoring categories. But Crawford seems to help you more than Peavy given the lineup.

peavy

TAKE THE TRADE PEAVY HAS MORE VALUE

I'd say take it, you already have a few stolen base guys, and jonny damon is healthy with bourn having a great spring, Peavy would LOCK your starting pitching up for a great year, without losing too much on the offense considering your bench!

Make the trade, and then pick up Gomez off the FA if he's there.
-
get peavy
-
No brainer to me. Peavy is a stud. Crawford is good, but you can usually pick up hitting help via waivers if you are dilligent. Get Peavy before the other team comes to his senses!
