How does trading in a keeper league work?

If you are in a Head to Head hockey league, how does trading work in regards to making players keepers for the next years draft? Here is an example to outline what I mean:
Player A drafts Sidney Crosby with his first pick of the draft.
Player B drafts David Backes in his eighth pick of the draft.
Player A and player B trade Crosby for Backes, and then they both proceed to make those players keepers. In what round does Player A receive Backes, and in what round does player B receive Crosby?
Any insight is appreciated, first time keeper leaguer

    • Its up to you.

You enter the keepers before next year, either as the first picks or the last picks (typically).

Where they were drafted this year has no relevance in "what round" they are kept next year though, as that doesn't matter at all.
