Trade Brad Richards for Brad Boyes

Should I trade a Brad for a Brad?? I've been offered Brad Boyes (NYI) for Brad Richards (NYR). Our league is pure points (G=1pt, A=1pt). It is a keeper league.

    Suggestions?????? Counter offers??

    • I don't understand how this is even a question. The answer is no.

And I'm not sure how you expect people to suggest counter offers when we don't know the guys roster.

    • I guess it all depends on your situation. Richards still has lots of value in a keeper league IMO. If you feel you're contending for a championship this year and you need one more piece to go over the top, perhaps you could could deal him for a player like Boyes and a draft pick (if your league trades draft picks). Or maybe a guy like Mikko Koivu, Mike Richards or Tomas Plekanec, who is playing fairly well now and are sure to have value beyond this season. If you are probably not contending for the title, maybe you should just hold onto him. But, in any case, I think you can get more than just Boyes or Alex Steen.

    • Somebody is trying to swindle you. Richards is a way better player than Boyes, who is benefitting from playing on a line with John Tavares. Don't do it, ESPECIALLY if you're in a keeper league.
