    Sidney Crosby's goal against Buffalo Sabres (Sunday February 17, 2013)

    Assists still count even if they hit off the boards. Am I correct? That's the only logical explanation I have. Even if it hit Miller's glove, he still didn't have complete control of it.

    • Oh definitely they do and should. I've watched it a few times and it seems that when Crosby took the first swipe at the puck when it came off the boards it kinda stopped at the line then Miller hit it in with the back of his glove. I'm so mad lol I mean how can Malkin not get any credit due to that. The best we can hope for is a stat correction at a later date, otherwise it'll probably stand.
