    slumping bad..

2 years removed as league champ.. placing 4th last year, now sitting comfortably at 9th of a 10 team 4 player keeper, standard scoring.
    Team looks as follows..
    C - Anze Kopitar
    C - Adam Henrique
    LW - Thomas Vanek
    LW - Daniel Sedin
    RW - Jarome Iginla
    RW - Teemu Selanne
    D - Oliver Ekman-Larsson
    D - Joni Pitkanen
    D - Drew Doughty
    D - Brent Burns
    B - Danny Briere (C/RW)
    B - Christian Ehrhoff (D)
    B - Jeff Carter (C/RW)

    G - Jonathan Quick
    G - Martin Brodeur
    G - Ondrej Pavelec

Now I am trying to make some deals happen right now as trading draft picks is also doable in this keeper league.. I'm Actually really trying to get rid of Daniel Sedin for a younger keeper for next year. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.. I also acknowledge that overall my team is decent on paper however there is a lot of under-performing on my team..

    • I wouldn't worry about it.
Kopi looks like he's getting back on the horse, Henrique's going at a PPG pace, Vanek is obviously a monster, Canucks have won 5 straight, Iginla will pick it up like he always does. Briere is iffy because he's getting old, and I've never really liked Carter on the defensive LA Kings.
OEL is fantastic, Doughty is underperforming hard core, Burns could go either way, and Ehrhoff looks like he's settling in Buff.
Quick and Kings are underperforming, Brodeur and Devils are overperforming, so it balances out.
Honestly, the only people I'd be worried about are Briere, Carter & Pitkanen.

      • Although I agree that your team is underperforming there are definitely some issues being it only a ten team league. Your defense is poor, there must be upgrades somewhere. I also don't see Pavelec as a top 20 goalie. I would however look to deal Henrique. He has good value right now and there are definitely better centers (Lecavalier, M.Koivu and keep your eye on D.Roy as well) that should be still available.

    • I think you answered you own question, your team is just underperforming. Patience is a virtue, I see no reason this team couldn't compete if you let it ride out and some of your players come out of their respective slumps.
