Two teams in a keeper league (one is mine) are trying to work out a deal for Rick Nash but cant come to anything. Each team has draft picks (4 rounds, draft is players that are forced dropped from each team at years end). Can you help us think of a proposal that would work for both sides. Team A wants to move nash and get good return, Team B wants to make a run and risk getting Nash traded to Pitt.
Team A: F- Jeff Skinner F- T.J Oshie F- Zach Parise F- Ilya Kovolchuk F- Rick Nash F- Patrick Elias F- Dustin Brown F- Mark Scheifele F- Jaromir Jagar F- Johan Franzen F- Martin St.Louis F- Danny Briere D- PK Subban D- Zedeno Chara D- John Michel-Liles D- Jason Garrison D- Nick Leddy D- James Wisniewski G- Marc Andre-Fleury G- Mike Smith
Team B: F- Sidney Crosby F- Claude Giroux F- Mike Richards F- Chris Kreider F- Ryan Kesler F- Taylor Hall F- Jordan Eberle F- Ryan Nugget-Hopkins F- Alex Semin F- Juri Hudler F- Evander Kane F- Daniel Alfredsson D- Mike Green D- Alex Gologoski D- Jack Johnson D- Michael Delzotto D- Cam Fowler D- Kris Letang G- Cam Ward G- Marty Brodeur
Can you see any trades? What do you think would be fair for Nash? (2 or more for 1 is possible)

Well this is a strange one. In the work of Hockey Pool and not knowing stats you count, I can only base my decision on pure points. So to look at the teams, first off... why bother trading Nash as he will only get better after leaving CBJ? At least for the short term. But if I was team A and knew Team B really wanted him, I'd ask for E. Kane in return as the prime piece in this deal. I don't think it would be a 1 for 1 because Kane is not projected to reach the 70 point mark anytime soon, but he will eventually, so Nash is still the bigger fish. Team B would have to provide something else, like a better D player to make up the difference. Something like a Mike Green in that deal, you are taking a chance here with him. And send back someone like Wisniewski. Again, that's just a general idea, because I know a Nash for Kane wouldn't happen. Now if Kane can't be moved, then go after Eberle.
