    LF 2 GM's for a 2nd year dynasty

Additionally, each team may offer contracts to two impending UFAs each Offseason.
    3.3.1 Offering a new Contract
In order to do this, the GM has to post his offer on the League Board, including Cap Hit and Contract Duration.
There are two Cap Hit thresholds for determining if a RFA signs with his original team immediately or if he waits for better offers.
If the RFA or UFA accepts the offer, the new Contract goes into effect on July 1st.

    3.3.2 Offer Sheets
Important: A GM MAY ONLY TRY TO SIGN A PLAYER TO AN OFFER SHEET IF HE HAS ENOUGH OWN PICKS TO SATISFY THE COMPENSATION REQUIREMENTS! PICKS ORIGINALLY OWNED BY OTHER TEAMS MAY NOT BE USED FOR COMPENSATION PURPOSES.
If the offer of the original team does not meet or exceed the automatic extension threshold, any other team may try to sign the RFA to an Offer Sheet during a time period of TWO WEEKS after the Qualifying offer was made or July 1st , whichever is later, by replying to the respective Qualifying Offer Thread with a better Contract. In our case, this means that the Offer Sheet’s Cap hit has to be at least 10% higher to be considered “better”. Restrictions for contract length are the same as the restrictions for Qualifying offers.
The RFA’s current GM then has ONE week to match the Offer Sheet.
If he does, the player will stay with his original team, if not, he will switch teams.
    3.3.2.1 Compensation

Cap Hit of the new Contract Draft Pick Compensation
    $1,020,348 and below No compensation
    $1,020,348 to $1,545,981 Third-round pick
    $1,545,981 to $3,091,963 Second-round pick
    $3,091,963 to $4,637,944 First- and third-round pick
$4,637,944 to $6,183,925 First-, second-, and third-round pick
    $6,183,925 to $7,729,907 Two first-round picks and a second- and third-round pick
$7,729,907 and above Four first-round picks
A team may have two different players signed to offer sheets in the same compensation bracket at the same time provided they have the available draft picks in the upcoming drafts. For example, if a team signs two restricted free agents to contracts worth $3 million per season, they must have their own second round selection in the next two entry drafts. In addition, if a team does not have a pick in the next upcoming draft available for compensation, they may not make a contract offer in the certain range where that pick is needed for compensation. Teams may not use draft picks acquired in trades with other teams, but extra acquired draft picks can influence a team's decision to submit an offer sheet.

There are only 4 instances when a new franchise player can be named. This may only be done in the offseason.:
    1) Your current franchise player retires. You can then name a new franchise player at a 10% caphit discount.
    2) Your current franchise player starts playing in another league. You can then name a new franchise player at a 10% caphit discount.
    3) An owner is replaced, in which case the new owner may designate a new franchise player at a 10% caphit discount.
    4) You trade your franchise player. You can then name a new franchise player at a 5% caphit discount.

At this time, GM’s are also responsible for posting the Status (RFA or UFA) of their players at the end of their initial contracts in the applicable thread on the Message Board.
Players aged 27 or younger on July 1st of the year their contract expires are RFA’s while those older than 27 at the end of their contracts are UFA’s.
