Daredevil Nik Wallenda is ready and feeling confident ahead of his historic Niagara Falls tightrope wire crossing on Friday evening on ABC---right now the countdown is on, still have about two hours away from the craziness. Watch it on ABC.
I know all of those things. Did ya'll know that most of the officials that required the harness expected him to take it off during the walk?
That wasn't half the stunt of most of the things Pastrana has done.
It wasn't a tenth of the Ceasars Palace Fountain jump that Evil Knievel did. On a bike with hardly any travel by today's standards.
But, he did make the walk across the Niagra Falls. He did break a record. It did take nerve to do it. He has guts.
But the whole thing was WAY over hyped. They wanted and tried to make the audience feel like it was a life threatening act of daring. And it wasn't. He was tethered to the wire.
That's like Ricky Carmichael winning all those championships with training wheels on his bike.lol
Or JJ winning FIVE STRAIGHT championships because all the other cars had anchors tied to their ass.lol
Ya'll didn't invest in that, did you?lol j/k
The walk the guy did with his mother at the site of his father's fatal fall was a MUCH bigger stunt than this.
It was American hype at it's worst.
Joie Chitwood's Thrill Show put on a better show in the 50's.lol
The Wallendas ain't what they used to be.
The old man is rolling in his grave over that harness.
It didn't even come close to living up to all the hype.
"Help me Jesus...hope they don't think I'm a jackoff...I love you Jesus"LMAO
I hope everybody had to pay mega bucks for that. They earned it.lol
Yeah, nice job, and the harness didn't matter, because he never lost his balance at all.............I laughed my azz off though when he said jackoff and then said jackass, talking about the harness, did you hear him?
Not sure it's on national TV George, maybe just our area, I could be wrong.............see my earlier post on it...........hey, I want to see if the guy has balls and takes his harness off. Buffalo News was saying he might take it off, once he starts walking across.
