I would say better. I'm not so sure about "top notch" though.
I wonder how many team owners would approve of Jerry Springers mug on the hood of their cars.lol
The drama has not ended by a long shot. No telling which way it will go for Kurt at this point.
If he can't keep the lid on the pressure cooker, he may have a future as a regular guest on the Springer show.lol
I'd probably leave Kurt alone if he just shut up and drove. I'm tired of the spoiled brat child routine in a grown up arena.
The collection of radio communications this year alone leaves me wondering if he is even capable of adult behavior where racing is concerned.

He owes him that much at this point. And, frankly, it could be Kurt's salvation if he can keep his mouth in check.
He may threaten to kick a reporter's ass, but doing it is another ball game. It is no different than a DW having to eat his words after inviting foes to meet him in the KMart parking lot.

I didn't think Finch was going to fire him in the first place. I'm sure he set terms he's never had to set before, though.
And we can be sure that Kurt and James came to the understanding that if Kurt screws up again, he's gone.
I can hear the phone call...Kurt: "Hey Bro! I can throw some money at this thing, so how about getting the Cup deal going sooner rather than later?"
Kyle:"Sounds like it could work. I'll have to look into it and crunch some numbers and feel out the sponsorship situation. And I'll have to think about who would drive."
Kurt then calls Grandma.
