  • Reed's got a sponsor -

For Pocono - two, actually - local companies. Good news, I really like what Frank Stoddard does with that #32. He can't do much on his budget, but he hangs tough and in the top 35, and provides steady employment for his troops.

Also - it's a pretty good little bargain-basement point-getter in the NASCARLive game.

    from jayski:

"Herr Foods, Hero Energy Shot sponsor Sorenson in Pocono: Herr Foods and Hero Energy Shot have teamed with FAS Lane Racing to sponsor the #32 Ford piloted by Reed Sorenson in this weekend's Pocono 400 at Pocono Raceway. Both companies are local to Pennsylvania and are partnering with FAS Lane Racing to increase awareness about their efforts to help the 32 million Americans that put on a uniform every day to serve and protect this country. Hero Energy Shot, based in Paoli, Pa., and Herr's of Nottingham, Pa. are proud to team together this weekend. Herr's distributes their snack food products to over 35,000 locations and has been carrying Hero Energy Shot for the last six months building distribution and sales. Proceeds from every sale of Hero Energy Shot go to non-profit organizations that support our military, firefighters, police and first responders.(FAS Lane/Breaking Limits)(6-9-2012)"

It's good to see some of these smaller companies participating when the circuit comes to town.

The amount that this will help that team goes beyond Pocono.

And it's a good model for other small companies to follow when the circus comes to their towns.

        Win, win, win.
