Carl Edwards
With his lack of wins and falling to 12th in points, is he going to push the envelope? Carl's failure to hold off Tony had to play a mind game with him. I don't see a chase with out him in it, but He has a long road ahead of him. Unless he starts to make some gains quick. 15 out of 10th (safe with no wins) and 24 from 13th (no hope with out wins). He is in a buffer zone right now, like he was last year in the chase. Will he fall short again?

i'll jus keep an eye on what wks you have him in your line up....lol

-as long as you run him on the right tracks
-
i have 9 starts waitn to be used
-
-carl is capable of stringing out a bunch of top 5's
-
i look for him to hit a hot streak sometime real soon
-
-after last year i wonder if carl and bob (his crew chief) think they are gonna pull a "tony "in the chase...lol

Thanks Wally...........I knew it was somewhere in there, knew it wasn't a top 10 though, I was pretty close LOL.

-11th for carl

Well Carl is in 11th the 1st car OUT of the chase, at this point. He needs a win to buy into the chase so far.
Gordon broke into the top 20, but that only helps if he gets 2 wins. because there are 4 drivers in front of him with 1 win each...

He might be ok, but he better start getting it done, and I mean in a hurry.............however, Mr. Sunday.............I do not like Edwards this week at Sonoma at all. I'll take the 14 and 24 all day long and not change it.............I don't care how bad the 24 has been, he is great on the road courses, but of course I will most likely start the 14 LOL............hell I would even take the 29 over the 99 at Sonoma.
