Oh man... I have the worst luck.
So, my team is currently in round one of the playoffs against a team that did NOTHING all year. 8 team league, and he ended in 7th, me in 2nd. He sat on his team the whole year and never set his lineups weekly. Halfway through this first round, he decides to start playing, when really he didn't deserve to be in the playoffs to begin with.
Of course my team decides to lay down and die this week, I've already lost Backstrom and Toews.
Oh, and I also have D. Sedin and Duncan Keith on my team. Oddly enough, Keith elbowed Daniel, who is now out for the foreseeable future, and Keith is likely going to be suspended.
So I lose Backstrom, Toews, Sedin, and Keith.
Is it okay that I rant here?

I didn't realize it was setup that way until later on in the season. I thought it was the top 4 or 6.
Oh well. Nothing can be done about it.
Just found out that D. Sedin is going to be out for 2 weeks. I have effectively lost him at the most critical point in my season.

Not really a joke of a league, but thanks for your golden nuggets of wisdom there... Appreciate that.
Two guys in the league decided not to play their team. Nothing we could do about that. Everyone else remained competitive throughout.
Doesn't really change the fate of my injured/out players...
